Looks good Lee, hopefully the D-Force 15's will fit along with the new TRM 15's. Be nice to have a few more choices before going up in size.

The rotors on the picture are 300mm x 32mm at ALL four corners. Being Heavy Duty rotors, they can take a lot of beating, don't worry.

Sport, Race and Rear kits are in stock.

    thanks, lee!

just to contribute some more info here, the pictures shown of my car is with pro race 2's (et25) running 3mm spacers up front. HOWEVER, there is sufficient clearance to run the wheels w/o spacers. it's just a little tight, with about 1.5-2mm clearance. i chose to add the spacers to create even more clearance 'headroom', and as you can see in the pics, there is plenty between the back of the spokes and the calipers on the fronts. the rears have even more clearance, and need no spacers, either. (see pics).

by the way, for those wondering, you will not be able to run kosei k1's using the same caliper sizes unless you modify the calipers. the inner diameter of the k1's, especially at the critical area where the spokes meet the dish of the wheel, is too narrow. this is the case even if you run any reasonably sized spacer up front. i tested with k1's before doing further research and settling on the pro race 2's. the caliper edges actually will grind slightly against the inside diameter. i suppose you could file the caliper edges and run them successfully, but i wasn't willing to go that route.

btw, i will be contributing more pictures to lee's album after this weekend when i get back from barber motorsports park.

Adam from Tennessee was kind enough to send me some pictures of his install of a front and rear kits with handbrake. Under New Jersey's Bob Conway's recommendations, Adam runs Pro Race 2 wheels on his M50 e30 track car. Enjoy the pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions.

BTW We did encounter a "slight" problem with one of the calipers. It ended up being leaky. Thanks to Carl at Wilwood, we managed to get one from California overnight, which was quite an accomplishment. I hope that Willem will be just as "lucky" as he found out that even after I ordered calipers for 1.25" rotors, he received calipers for the thinner 0.81" discs. His next event is Watkins Glen in two days. Still waiting to hear from my rep at the moment. Cross my fingers.

    BBK and 15" wheel fitment

In 2008, several dozens of e30 kits have hit the track. Either at DEs or race events. One constant question remains: wheel fitments. The front Race kit was initially designed around the Team Dynamic Pro Race 1, which had huge clearance. Then, the shape changed a bit for the Pro Race 1.2 and while still fitting, the clearances were much less. Interestingly, the same kit installed on cars with different batches of 1.2 will have different clearances... Looks like the TD production uses different molds...

After discussing with Bob Conway from New Jersey who runs front and rear kits on two racecars, and after he tested several wheels, he came to the conclusion that up to now, with the demise of the discontinued 1.0, the best wheel remains the Pro Race 2.0 as it offers ample radial and lateral clearance. The Pro Race 2.0 is a 5 spoke race wheel that is sold by Bimmerworld and others. We will see in July if the new 15" x 8" TRM wheels will fit a BBK.
