    25mm master cylinder gone bad?

I swapped out the master cylinder on my 87 325is around four months ago with a 25mm one from flying brick performance and lately ive noticed that if i put a decent amount of pressure on the pedal, overtime the pedal travel increases. I know this is a sign that the master cylinder is bad but gone bad in 4 months?

Ive done some break work such as ss brake lines and pads and rotors and Im wondering if anything else could be the culprit. Ive checked for leaks and there are none. Brake pedal is initially still firm so Im not sure what to do other than replace the master cylinder. Any ideas? Thanks.

A sinking pedal in the absence of leaks does mean a failing master cylinder, regardless of the age of the master cylinder.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
