    wheel bearing prob?

well im not sure where i should put this...i searched and found jack....well everything on my car like, tire rods, control arms brakes, ect are new....and within the past few days "just started" i can feel a really faint shake in the wheel while driving "from drivers side"....could the wheel bearing make the car shake? also how do you check to see if its gone?... i can hear some noise from that side but its tuff to tell if its road noise or not

    much thanks

Jack the car up and spin the wheel. If you hear any clicking at all, the bearing is probably bad. When mine went, I was hearing a grinding sound when I jacked it up.

So check that then check back.

^ Could be the brakes you are hearing.

Another way to tell if it is the bearing is by jacking the car up and pulling on the wheel. Grab it with your right hand at the 3 oclock area and pull towards you while pushing at the 9 oclock area. If you get any sort of play back and forth it probably is the wheel bearing.

Could also be a tire out of balance issue as well. If above doesn't reveal anything try rotating your tires and see if the shaken disappears from your steering wheel.

i tried to see if there was any play at all...and there was none what so ever....perhaps the wheels are the issue? there is a whole lot of pot holes here
