    Cat back removal.

I am trying to drop my subframe, anyone have any tips on the easiest way to remove the cat back, it is a pain in the ass to get to the top set of bolts on the joint next to the cat.

If you have a slim set of ratcheting wrenches that works great. Sometimes a 1/4 ratchet can get up there on one side too. Worst case scenario a wrench on each side.

Also, loosten the bottom ones first. That should give you a bit of mobility to shift those down to a point where you can get to them a bit better. If you have never removed them before they will probably be really hard to remove and may break. You may just want to get box end wrenches on the nut and bolt and twist like hell.

Some of the original muffler bolts are rusted so badly that they need to be cut off.

Invest in some mechanix gloves, really saves the knuckles.
