    Interesting CAB idea

I know some people have an issue with their CAB squeaking and poping and have to relube them. SO I have this idea that when I install my new cabs. I will drill a hole through the loly pop and cab and then thread one of this grease fittings so later if I want to grease them it would be super easy to do with just a grease gun.
Has anyone tried this before or have see any issues with this idea.

You want them dry, not lubed. That's why they fit so tightly.

Uh with poly bushings, you do want them greased not dry. That's what I think the OP is alluding to.

OP, I think you should try it and see how it works for you. At worst you will just have to buy some new lolli pops.

I had this same idea when I did mine, I even went so far as to buy the grease fittings. But like everything else on my car, I was pressed for time during the cab install. By the time I got the new bushings in, it was time to clean up and play family guy.

It is still in the cards, it has just been bumped down the list 40 or 50 places.

The only problem I can foresee with this is, if the hole for the grease fitting is not deburred it may cause a stress riser and may lead to cracks. I don't think that this is very likely though.
