    Poly subframe bushings/mounts: grease them?

I see a lot of talk about greasing poly bushings with silcone based stuff, waterproof grease, etc. to avoid squeeks.

Are you supposed to grease the subframe bushings? They're not supposed to slip in/out of the subframe so I'm wondering if grease will cause that to happen.

I greased them just to be safe, as well as greasing the unibody nubs to hopefully prevent them from corroding too badly. Even though they don't literally move, they can still make noise when not lubricated well, especially if it is softer polyurethane. Grease will not cause them to slide in or out; at least not with my AKG parts.

whether you grease them or not... they will squeek some time or another.

the grease is more less to repel the water,
ive seen some fancy ways of keeping them "moist"

If the bushings "slide" in and outta the sub... then thos are probably the wrong ones, while ive never done it on a Bm, Ive done a bunch of eurothayne mods on meny other cars.

        grease them.. in and out,
