    abs and lds related??

On my way home today my abs light came on in the dash. I tested the abs by braking on some snow/ice it appears that the abs is not working. Then when I pulled up my driveway 1 tire started to spin...so it appears my lsd diff has packed it in as well. Have had lots of snow and ice the last week and a half so I guess the lsd has been working overtime. I wouldn't think the abs and diff problems would be related but they both happened at the same time. I did just put on Bavarian Autosports brake kit [new drilled rotors and powder coated calipers] but that shouldn't affect the abs, I've been driving around for about 150 km on the new brakes. I also just had a shop [5 days ago] rebuild the front struts with new shocks and springs and replaced the rear as well [of course], any chance the abs sensor or ring could be damaged when working on the front struts?

I took the car for another spin and the abs light came on after a breaking a couple times with some weird abs chatter/pedal feel the light came on in the dash again and abs shut off.

    any Ideas??

That could be a bad wheel speed sensor. By this time the insulation on the wiring for the speed sensors could be somewhat brittle and the current fault could be related to the recent suspension work. Or it could be that one of the sensors has simply failed.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
