It totally depends on your driving style. I know people that have cooked stock brakes at the track in a 325e after a few laps (pads/rotors/ss lines).....then again, I know others that have run stock E30 disk brakes in heavy breathing 24v E30's on the track, w/o problems.

How do you drive your car? I've had my brakes hot a few times (metalmasters, ss lines, good rotors), but I havn't had the car on the track.

Do the swap, drive the car, learn to maximize braking with the stock setup and hot motor...then see if you need more.

Best bit of clear concise advice yet.

Get a good pad, (not local auto-zone) and some good SS lines and DOT4 fluid.
      Below the radar...

        Have you talked to Alfie?
I think that he is still running his stock brakes

and Spokane is 5.5 hours...............I didnt think it was that bad for the seat time you get

Can you use E32 front rotors ,calipers and hardware on a E30 M3 5-lug conversion?

Was thinking about this a few days ago while reading through E28 threads

I haven't been talking to Alfie as much as I should be. When I started he was out of town for a while or something along those lines, and for whatever reason I haven't tried to contact him.

I'm not quite running a stock m50, I have M3 cams, chip obviously, thinking about headers (if nothing else i'll do the obd II manifold), and underdrive pullies. It won't be gobs of power, but it'll be substantially more power than my car had before (I'm guessing about 150hp from a poorly tuned m20). Like I said before, I've had some pretty bad brake fade with the m20 (lots of fun mountains around here) but that was with brakes that who knows how old they were, and what brands they are. I'm guessing cheap.

I think I'm going to stick with the stock stuff for now, Maybe get some ducting plates and go for an 88+ front valance see if that helps with fading issues. I'll hit up some Brembo rotors (none of this cross drilled shit) Some PBR Metal Masters (unless somebody reccomends something different [ keeping in mind I hate brake dust on my bottle caps ] ) some good SS lines, Superblue fluid, and maybe a 25mm Master cylinder. If that doesn't work, I might come up with something from wilwood later down the line.

Speaking of 25mm Mastercylinders, e34 535s have them too don't they?

While the car is appart, I'm doing suspension too. My main question with that is: Should I A) replace the whole control arm, or B) Just replace the bushings/ball joints? What else should I replace?

Thank you everybody for all of your help! Its been great being shown the errors in my ways, and the other options available out there. I appreciate it.
