    the sounds of stuff broken

I have parked my car till I can get in there and tear it apart.Thought i helped it last nite.Nope.Was a little quieter this morning on way to work but this eve driving home it sounded as the wheel was gonna come off.I carefully and slowly drove home listening carefully for possible eminant disaster.
What exactly should it sound like if my rear wheel bearing is bad vs. the outter c/v joint?
When I got the car it needed a front bearing/hub.It roared and could feel the vibration.I got some vibration back in the rear for sure.In less that a week time it went from a annoying noise to sounding pretty critical.
I don't see how the parking brake mechanism could make that muck sound. It all looks to be in place as best I can tell and the caliper it fine. The rotor needs turned or replaced but externally nothing obvious.
I have a spare axle i may try to swap in just for test sake(not a great one;tore boots but made no noise)
As mentioned in my other post this started a month ago in near zero temps.I left the park brake up on a 3 degree nite and my car was not happy.
At this point im a bit disgusted and pissed off.Too much other life b.s at the moment to wanna mess with this thing.:hitler:(been wanting to use the little hittler thing.IDK what it's really for but thats how i feel at the moment)

The first thing would be to check the torque on the lug nuts. And to check to make sure that you don't have a bent or broken wheel.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

That's because you need to first figure out how a handbrake works in a BMW.

Go on realoem and dig up a diagram of the rear brake, and post it here.
