How To Replace Rear Brakes Without Subframe Removal

    Hey,

    Video Here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7K-nKB5MJa8
Over the weekend, I replaced my rusty, leaking rear brake lines with 3 sections of Teflon/braided steel hose and a few adapters. I replaced them from a fitting the previous owner had installed under the car, but I believe this repair could also be done from the abs pump backwards, though it would require a longer length of hose. I used a piece of string to mock up the position of the lines, and then purchased precrimped lines for Earl's in the correct lengths. At first I thought there were no lines from Earl's in the longer lengths, but then I realized I could just change the last two numbers of the part number to find the correct length, e.g. for 80 inch 3an speedflex the part number would be 63010180 The parts used were:

    Jegs part numbers:
    1x JEGS 100760
    1x JEGS 100769
    1x Earl's 63010136
    2x Earl's 63010172
    1x Earl's 962403
    Total Price: $120.12

So far, so good! A decent alternative to bending and crimping.
Working...
