We have a 1986 325es. I bought a tested used ABS Control Unit from a BMW Salvage place. Listed our specific car and year. Bosch Part # 0 265 103 041.
When we pulled the unit (on this car it's above the driver's feet, not above the glovebox), the part # is 0 265 103 004.
So I don't know about compatibility with these. Will it work?
These German salvage guys list an 004 as 85-91. They show the 041 as 89-93.
RealOEM shows our car having a 34521158706, which is the BMW number on the replacement 041 unit, and shows that it supersedes a 34511155035.

That makes me think the 041 / 34521158706 is the right one.
