why dont rally cars or off road trucks/buggys use them? wouldn't the reduction of unsprung weight be beneficial in offroad situations? anyone know any cars using them?

 They are difficult to replace.

 The only advantage of inboard brakes is the reduction in unsprung weight. The disadvantages are difficulty in cooling the brakes and difficulty in changing pads/rotors (especially rotors).The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
