45mm-51mm strut help

I've searched plenty but i'm still unclear on what exactly i need to use 51mm bilsteins in my 318i? How much would it cost roughly? Suspension is my kryptonite:???:

If you have 45mm strut housings, you need the strut housings from a 318is, any 325 or any convertible. (applies to US cars only)
