New e36 steering rack problem?

I just picked up a used steering rack w/tie rods still attached. The passenger side tie rod looks to be bent. I hear a slight fluid swooshing sound in the rack when I spin the steering wheel. Is this a sign of big problems? The rack works fine but I can return the rack if this will turn into a big problem down the road. If anyone has heard/gone through an issue with something like this hit me with some feed back.

Update: I ended up returning the rack and getting a new one. The install went flawless and now the steering feels great. It definitely doesn't feel like a new rack but is way better than the original e30.
