What Ground Control coilover conversion kit will fit?

Hi guys,

I own an E30M50 with a 5 lug conversion kit. Actually, the front dampers are bilsteins sport for E36 325 and the rear dampers are bilsteins sport for E36 318TI. Also the springs are H&R race with stock E30 325 swaybars. I use this car only for racetrack use. But i still need to drive it there. The actual setup is way too soft.

I could buy an ajustable kit of swaybar by i would prefer to add swaybar at the last resort for minimal tuning. Also i had Vorshlag camber plates and i will like to use smaller spring to adding more camber at the front.

I will like to know what Ground Control kit will fit. I thougt that the E36 318TI kit will be the right one. But on their website when you select the bilsteins they add a comment that say they do not recommend it.

They dont add this comment for the E30 and E36 325 kit when you select the bilsteins. The E30 rear suspension is the same as my car and the E36 325 front is the same my car. I am confused!

Can i buy the E36 318TI kit and install it? Why is not recommended?

Its not the platform Annick. We do not recommend Bilsteins as they tend to ride on the bumpstops when lowered.

Me:
The car is stripped and it is driven mainly on racetrack(spring rate higher than on a street car). The main purpose is not to lower the car. Should be ok then?

GC:
Not lowering the car will help, however, if you are running sticky tires you may still experience bottoming with the Bilsteins.
