Proper installation of rear bilstien sports

The rear bilstien sport shocks do not come with any boot or sleeve like the fronts do. Are you supposed to re-use the sleeve that is on the oem shocks?

The only other option that I can see is to not use any sleeve. Instead just throw a washer on the top of the shock (underneath the shock mount) and hope that the shock doesn't bust throught the washer. This seems like a terrible idea because there is only a tiny lip (~0.5mm) for the washer to sit on.

Please educate me. Bilstien's instructions are lousy.

I reused black tube on mine, but it's rubbing on the side of the shock and took paint off of it. Personally, I don't worry about it.

You need to re-use the assembly from the old strut and strut mount. When you take apart the old one you will find the washer that sits on the perch lip.

      4,5,6,12 should all be re-used.
