    Spring perch options

    Springs aside, what are perch options for 2.5 ID and 2.25 id springs?

    Supposedly someone has them on ebay for all of 30$ shipped.

    Anyone know what ground control wants for theirs?

      about a year ago, out of curiosity, I bought an ebay kit, and I was very surprised by threaded sleeves quality, but top hats were absolute crap and made out of rubbery plastic material. Not to mention springs are unknown rates. No two kits ordered are ever the same either, and most of them are generic fit. Bottom line is, $30 is definitely worth the sleeves alone, but everything else is junk.

      I still have them in box sitting on a shelf, and i'm never going to resell them. Maybe some sort of crazy dune buggy project.

          haha, well i'm only after the sleeves, so thats reassuring. Did you just buy a "complete" e36 kit?

              bumping for moar options. Also, someone i know can make stuff with a lathe, but i dont really know what id tell him to make

                      perches were from an e36 kit and they did fit 2.5" springs all around.


                      And no, I do not want to sell ebay perches. It's one thing if I installed them and crashed and a whole other if I sold them and you crashed. I'd hate that very much.

                          Thats true. Ok well i may try it anyway, at least in the rear, dialed down all the way so i dont have to worry too much about the strength of the threads
