I was wondering what you guys recommend for making a lowered e30 suspension more ride friendly for a DD.
Don't get me wrong i love my suspension, but the days of AutoX and tracks are over for me. This has become my DD and I am willing to give up stiffness for sake of comfort.
The car rides decent, not too many rattles and noises, car is solid compared to be beater, not much bangs unless i hit a big bump. Due to the bad roads in toronto this is happening more often. But i'd like to make it a bit more complaint if possible.
Currently my suspension looks like this:
FK Springs
FK Shocks
m3 rubber CAB
New Control Arms
New Tie Rods.
Planned:
Rear sub-frame bushing (rubber)
RTAB (rubber)
Front strut mounts (rubber)
Wheels: 16x8 Falken 912s 205/45/16
I was planning on doing camber plates to reduce camber (at -3.1 currently) but that would probably make it more stiff.
I was also considering front Koni shocks soon as replacements (as mine are nearing 100k)
Anything else i can do short of jacking it up to near stock height?
