Steering rack & tie rod questions

Alright so my rack blew out the other day so i'm replacing the rack. Now i was thinking about going to the e36 rack but i was wondering if the e36 rack has less of a steering angle than the e30 rack? i noticed it seems like my e30 has more angle than my e36. also can you use the e36 tie rods on the e30 rack? i don't like the e30 style. I want to lose any angle cause I plan on doing drift events with this car.

    Angle?

tie-rods won't change anything. they're designed differently for safety...

I didn't say the tie rods would change anything. I was mainly concerned about the rack.

e30 rods are less likely to break under hard driving, but they thread nearly all the way in when using e36 rack.

You should search before posting something that's been covered a lot of times.

I am running stock e36 rack, and love it. Eventually I'll do a direct swap in for a z3 rack, since I have everything done.
