    Stiffest springs with bilstein sports?

I'm running 350/475 rates on GC coilovers and bilstein sports and was wondering if there is a max spring rate suggested for these inserts. I;ve heard everything from 400 lb/in to 600 and above. I'd like to run 400 or 450 front but I don't really want to risk blowing the shocks. I'd get konis if I had the money, but with the M42 oil pan I'm not really going to need the extra slamming ability.

So yeah, and info would be great :)

A friend of mine ran the GC 450F/650R (or 400/600, can't remember) setup on stock housings with regular bilstein sports on his DD 325i with no ill affects. And that was on crappy New England roads. I think that would be about the max I would go without getting them revalved.

im doing the cosmo race rates at about 400f 510r iirc. they seem to match perfectly.

the front is like viagra and the rear is too.

you'll be kicking yourself later for buying cosmo coils. and FYI the rates are nowhere near 400 front or rear

Do what I'm going to do, order GC's 5 lug E30 coilovers. They build the strut to get more caster and it's only a few hundred more than the normal kit I believe.
