    front sway bar bushings.

    wow, i just spent a good hour under my car trying to install new front sway bar bushings. these things are a BITCH. anyone have any tips or tricks?:drink:

      yeh, i bought stock ones, holy crap they are a pain. ive never had this much trouble with sway bar bushings on any other car ive replaced them on. tommrow im going out there with a big ass bottle of dawn or KY or something, i dont know, this is crazy.

        i did mine today and it wasnt hard at all.

        heres what i did, took off the sway links (because i was replacing them anyway),

        doused the new sway bushings in wd40 same as with the sway bushing mount.

        pushed the bushing in as hard as i could then fit the lip into the slot, then took a pair of vice grips and pulled the piece that has the screw hole as tight as i could get it then put the screw and nut on and was done

          yep, lube and vice grip them, then insert bolt to pull them tight.
