    M3 swaybar links

Is it worth it to convert standard e30 strut housings to the m3 style swaybar mounts? In the past 4 years I've gone through 2 sets of "standard" swaybar endlinks. The rubber bushing keeps popping out and it's getting annoying. Also what is the best way to measure where to weld the brackets (w/out any flex in the bar)?

    Rob,
I am planning to do this to my housings also....Best answers I have received are in this thread:

Not sure why your rubber bushing would keep popping out though...
Anyway, I plan of welding up some 1" square tube like in the last photo instead of the AKG mounts...

BTW the best bar to run with the M3 tabs is actually the cabrio front bar. Same size but the geometry is different. I'm about to do the conversion as well.

They just get dry and shitty, then start to "wiggle" out of the bracket
Thanks for the link to e30tech! That pretty much takes care of the measurements
