    Suspension gremlin!!!

Okay, I have a 1989 325i and i have put bilstein sports with eibach pro kit springs. A new rack and pinion, and a set of konig remember rs. the problem is i have a bad shimmy in my front end. when i hit my brakes it gets worse so i figure it has to be in the front. the brake pedal doesnt pulse so it isn't the rotors, and also they have been replaced. it doesnt do it until i get about 50 mph and smoothes out at about 75 mph and then the whole car shakes after about 85 mph. i checked the tie rod ends when i replaced the rack and they were tight. also i have tried to push on the tire with it jacked up and it didnt flex so i don't think it is the control arm. i have had this problem since i have owned the car which has been over 3 years. it has over 200,000 miles on it and i think it could be some worn out bushings. does that sound right? i now some need to be replaced because the steering isnt as tight as it probally should be. what do u guys think and if u do think it is the bushing then which ones need to be replaced. thanks for your help.

more than likely it is the balance of your wheels

well i thought about that but i have went through 2 sets of tires i would think that once they would get balanced right.

not if you took it to the same place twice. Go to a reputable shop and have them scrape all the old balance' off and start from scratch

move your rear tires to the front to see if that helps,
that will help single out tires, wheels or suspension..
              also try this,
I knew that I needed new CA's when I changed lanes under hard acceleration,
the wheel would kinda float/wobble and you could feel it in the steering wheel...
It could still be your rotors though,
it doesn't always pulse back thru the pedal....
