Suspension Techniques Speedtech 60/40 drop review

Installed these yesterday and all i can say is that i am extremely impressed, nice and soft for a daily driver but not to soft so they bottom out the Bilstien Sports.
Awesome drop, and the back is not tucked into the fender wells either...

I am looking for options, been trying to research on those Suspension Techniques springs and found nothing useful. How are they versus H&R Race & IE 3. Better yet how they look and feel on a 318 ;x

Post some more pics of stance. waiting...

never riden in a car with IE3's or HR Race's, but i can tell you they are a lot more comfortable than the SPAX springs i had in my coupe a few years back... these seem to work excellent with the Bilstien Sports, no bottoming out and not harsh at all.

They are softer, I have never seen them on a 318 but if they are the same spring for all E30s I think they will look pretty good if you get rid of the spring pads. Should not be too bouncy even though you have a lighter car because I did a lot of weight reduction and it rides good.

These 2 are on ST Speedtechs.

are the front and rear spring pads removed on the grey car?

i was thinking about removing the rears only on mine, i think the front is already low enough, i will post some real pictures tomorrow...

i am surprised no other spring manufacture goes this low without having extremely high spring rates (FK, HR Race, IE3), i don't know about the lowtech springs though...

another thing is these were shipped from KW, i guess KW and suspension techniques are part of the same company? KW name i think stayed for coilovers only now and ST are from springs and shocks

I had actually called trying to find spring rates for the 60/40 kit and for the 60/60. Does anybody know what they are by chance since they ever got back.

its just shy of the races and quite a bit stiffer than the sports....
