    M-Z3 struts

Is the dampening rate of a stock m coupe front strut fairly close to a normal E36 strut?
How about the dampening of a stock rear 325 e30 strut compared to an e36 m shock?
The reason I ask is because i have factory Struts from an M coupe in my E30 and the car ended up being much bouncier than I expected. the Curb weight of a Z3 is about 500 lbs more than an E30, so i thought that the struts would work fairly well in my car..

Im gonna try putting the factory e30 shocks back in the rear, right now i have bilstien HD's and i think they are stiffer than the front right now,
(helping it to bounce more in the front cause the back is so stiff) so at least until i can get $$ to order a set of Konis or Bilstien sports, i can run on a set of shocks/struts that are closer in dampening, (hopefully)

I'd assume that your Z3 struts are used. That being the case, if they had 60k or more on them they are probably blown out.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

yeah they came from a wrecked m roadster, but i dunno how many miles were on it..
they dont feel really like "worn" struts though.. the main thing is they dont match the rear with the bilstien HD's, and i hoped they would, i was under the impression that HD's were just a step up from most factory shocks.. and the bilstien sports would be a much harder ride compared to that and also compared to a factory "M" strut
