drives great until i hit about 55mph then vibrates. then around 65mph it kinda goes away but i can feel it still. then at 85mph it gets worse like at 55mph.
any ideas? help me pls.

+1 on tire balance. but it could also be a bent wheel, bad tire, worn struts/shocks, or worn suspension parts..The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

tire balance has those same symptoms on every type of car. Vibration comes at 55 and leave around 65 and comes back after 80. I would definitely take the car in and get the tires balanced. Its the cheapest way to fix it. Start cheap then work your way up to the more expensive solutionsNeed a performance chip for you BMW? Shoot me a PM and I'll get you taken care of!!

Check your lugs, make sure they are tight because when i had just bought my car and was driving it 6 hours from DC to home I had the same problem but it was very minor. It ended up i was only riding on 3 on each wheel, i tightened them up and added lugs and it was pretty much eliminated, now i need them balanced. my $0.02

well happens when on and off throttle
fronts are brand new tires and balanced would the back need done? idk if they are still ok i got them from a friend.
i had a balljoint go out on me so i replaced it but would that have F'd my strut?
