rear shock parts missing ?

today I am installing rear shocks with shock mounts. out with the old,

couple of things are different then pictures at real oem
1) does not have the protective cover for the shafts..
2) shows large washers above and below the shock mount, yet the old ones only had the large washer above the shock mount

so out to my parts car, thought I would pull the parts off of it,
same thing, no covers, no lower washer

although bav suto and real oem list different part numbers, can I use the tops for the bottom also, since I have 4 of them, or are they really different in design/function ?

obviously, 2 different cars, both missing the same thing.this must be common to leave out.or just a coincidink

I mounted stock top washers to top and bottom since I had 4 of them. logic, to me, as then the load is spread over the entire rubber bushing not just the center shaft collar

hey matt, the rear springs went on easy,( thanks for the springs) so did the billy sports, the blankety blank rotor however is gonna be a pain, since p.o must have tried to take them off, as both allen screws are "round"
might just leave the rotors for now. and install new pads, its the front that are warped ( one of them) and Ill be hitting the fronts next ( springs etc) as soon as I drop the back down
dont want to drill out the screw now or try an easy out and get "screwed"
Ill wait until I have to do the rear bearings, that way, with the hubs off, I can drill/tap/replace if needed
