    GC setup for 91 318is

i have been reading for about an hour, but nobody mentions what model they have when the give a detail about their GC setup.

what should i get for a 1991 318is that has an m42 and such, but eventually will be swapped with god knows what?

i will also be updating all my bushings to polyurathane in the future as well.

I dont know much, but i was thinking along the lines of 500f & 675-700r.

and what struts besides koni's do the job that will work?

    give me insight, please!

Umm Bilstiens work. Not sure which is better though, I've always been under the impression koni's are better. And they are adjustable.

But billies are popular and lots swear by them...

    I have 650/450 and I love it.

What are your plans for the car?

It kind of depends on what you consider stiff.

With poly bushings it seems like a 650/450 setup with sways would work well for you.

But some prefer stiffer, 750/550 would also work for you.

People claim that the 650/450 is too stiff and I'm on stock bushings and fatty tires and I don't find it stiff at all... So see if there are any people near you and try some setups out.

well if 650 is up front and 450 is in the back, isnt that opposite of what i want? stronger in the rear, weaker up front?

right now im on stock baskets. i will be going to something cheap and stupid once the car is dropped, and as of right now, if i drop it in gear and launch, i rub hard core. the ass dips like a freaknasty song.

I have a set of bilie sports that I used for 1500 miles. Im selling them for pretty cheap. Check the FS section.

Im also running GC suspension. 550/750 and I love how it feels. But the roads in my town are all new since they paved everything this summer.
So if your car is your DD and your roads are shit, I would go with 450/650.
