Does my suspension have to do with weird noises?

So I've been noticing a lot lately that my car is making strange noises. I know for a fact that its not from the engine bay whatsoever. From what I can hear as I'm driving, it sounds like a weird squeaking noise, but not like a high pitched one. I don't even know how to describe it. It only happens when I'm driving on a surface thats not perfectly flat (so most the time). I'm beginning to think that it might be the springs? I'm no good with suspension stuff so please help me out here.

The springs are usually the last things I'd suspect. Bad ball joints, bushings, upper strut mounts, sway links/bushings, or shocks (in that order) would be my suspects.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I would suggest checking the spare tire in the trunk. If it's not secured properly, it can make very similar squeaky noises. Another possibility would be the rear strut mounts.

I'm hearing it more from the front of the car. Like yesterday, when I went over a speed bump, the front of the car would make this odd sound. I don't know how to describe this noise but its not a squeak. The rear end of the car does the same thing. Its always when the tires go over something the car makes this noise.

rear shock mounts and front upper strut bearings/mounts. these two things are most likely your problem here.
