Possible or Impossible? Cutting you strut.

So, i know it must be a big no no, but i just ordered some Koni "Adjustables" and i need to cut the strut housing. So the problem is: I ordered the stock height strut. When i really need the short strut. Is it possible to cut the strut on top then weld it back? So it can fit with the shortened strut housing.

I heard it was possible, but that you loose alot of travel. Possible or no?

    Thank you.

    Suspensions are so fing frustrating.

Why don't you cancel your order and get the short ones instead?

i ordered it from someone on the forum and its on its way. Do you think someone will buy just the front ones from me if i dont end up doing this? If so, is it a better idea to just sell them on the forums then buy the short ones? The short ones are like 200 buks each. fuck.... Does anyone know where i can get them for the best price.

      Thanks

Are you opposed to utilizing the Search function?
