325es springs on a 318i, will it work?

I know the cars are different weights, but will it still drop the car at all if I put some eibachs from the 325 on my 318? I have a chance to get some suspension bits for cheap and I'm thinking about trying it out. Thanks.

The 318 is significantly lighter than the 325, especially in the rear. Thus you wont get as much of a drop when installing them on a 318.

I've read that people remove the spring pads/cushions. Will that help? Will removing the spring pad do any damage or cause any nasty noises? I'm kinda new at this. Thanks.

It's worthless to remove the front pads, but you can get close to another 1/2" drop in the rear if you take the rear pads out. You'll get a little more vibration, but it's not bad.
