How much to do a suspension rebuilt?

    Hi,

Im very close to pulling the trigger on an E30 and I understand that it will need a suspension rebuild after I buy it. Aside from the cost of shocks, springs, and sway(I plan on upgrading these) how much does it cost in parts to rebuild an E30 suspension?

right around 2200.00-2500.00 for all new parts.
But it all depends on what parts you buy, where you buy them and what your after.

You could do it with the stock rubber bushings pretty cheap. With new control arms, tie rods, upper strut mounts, rear shock mounts, and all new rubber bushings you would probably spend close to $500.

I would say with ebay stuff like 500 bucks and thats on the high side. I did new control arms with control bushings, sway bar links, and tie rod ends for 190.

                          They make urethane bushings.

I'll be spending ~$1,700 on mine. That includes springs/shocks, control arms, CABs, swaybar bushings, shock mounts, RTABs (trailing arm bushings), rear subframe bushings, diff mount and used E36 steering rack. All rubber parts except a couple IE urethane bushings. Figure $80 for an alignment when the whole thing's done, and if you're lowering it a skid plate may be a good idea.
