    Ground Control spring hats

I'm looking into getting some GC coilovers but I'm confused about something. The coilover conversion kit comes with top spring perches(pic 1) but the ground control camber plates come with an upper spring perch too(pic 2). Do you use these in conjunction or one or the other?

one is on top of your spring if you have the stock strut mount

the other is on top of your spring and works with the camber plates

well for hats that come w/ the plates are cupped to fit the plates perfect. The ones pictured above w/ the GC kit are flat on the top.

            wweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

            pic:

Silver flat hats sit flush against the stock strut mount

The GC one has those needle bearings, with the washer and then the cupped spacer thing which the rounded "elbow" for lack of a better word of the plate sits on.

Thanks alot. Thats what I needed to see. So one has a bearing and the other doesn't.

Both do. I just moved the washer and cup to the side to show the new bearing I got. (Apparently if you let crud in there, run them hard during Chicago winters for years, and never clean / grease them... they don't work so well)
