    H&R Sport and HD Bilsteins?

Hey guys, i got two e30s one with stock springs and HD bilstiens and other with HR sport and Bilstiens sports. This is what i want to do. I wanna use the HR sport on the bilstein HD and get HR Race for the bilstien sports.
Do you think the HD will bottom out a lot on the sport springs? I'm asking this b/c i dont feel like buying new shocks. And this way i could lower both cars by just buying springs. Thanks in advance.

Probably OK with the H&R Sports...they don't lower too much. If you don't drive around on rough roads with a bunch of people in your car, you should be fine. But understand the HD's weren't designed for lowered cars!

    Good Luck!

You'd be compromising both, as HD's are too long for the lowering springs and Sports don't have enough rebound strength to cope with Race's. They'll work, but they'll be a compromise.

Yeah, i understand that i will be compromsing both, but my other car i'm putting the HDs and Sports is just my backup car, so i should be just fine. As for the race springs, i might get the bilsteins revalved for the race springs, i'm trying to setup my car like the Spec E30s, i heard they drive pretty good thats why. Theres also so many different opinions about the bilsteins sports and race springs that i dont even know what to think. Thanks for the advice guys.

you'll also wear the HD's out faster, at normal ride hieght the HD's will aready be into its travel 1"+, more towards the heart of the damening.
