    steering rack question.

    i have a 91 318ic. steering rack went out.I am looking into replacing it with a steering rack from 1997 E36 318 .will IT BE A DIRECT FIT OR DO I HAVE TO MAKE SOME ADJUSTMENTS.EVERY INPUT IS APPRECIATED.

          yes modification is needed, go search for the DIY for it. all the info is there.
