    shocks for 318ic

I bought some m3 springs to put in my 92 318 vert. I cannot figure out which shocks to use. No one seems to list Bilsteins for this car?
I found some KYB, and Gabriels, and Sachs/Boge.
    Can I use Bilsteins from a 318is?

Will the car take a 51mm cartridge?

What other parts do I need for the job?

    Thanks!

didnt that link work for cheap billy's, hes got em
yes the shocks form a 318is will work
here is the billy site http://www.bilsteinshocks.com/bilste...W'&model='318i All Models'&year='1992'

hows the lower control arms, youll be popping them off the ball joint, top bearing mount, replaced mine, figured why not wiht 150+k on them
then agin I was doint the whole suspension, control arms, cabs, springs, tie rods, rotors, brakes so why stoip at the top bearing

dpendiong on the miles adn use/abuse of your car you may need new spring pads too, you can see them and acess their condition before pulling stuff apart, and order if needed,, I did not need

Any stock style shock is fine for M3 springs.

No problem using 318is billies on your 92. I have this set up with Eibach and it works fine.
