Hate my IE Stage 3 Reverse Rake

I hate cutting coils but I had to cut one up front... didn't seem to do enough. Anyone else running IE3's that look a little better?

I'm probably going to go with H&R Race. Suggestions?

+1. changing the strut mount and/or taking the spring pads out might help. i also don't know when you installed the springs but they also need to settle into place a bit... they will get a bit lower in time.

Yes, everything is stock. IE3s and Bilstein Sports have been installed for about 3 weeks now.

I guess my next step is to extend my upper spring perches? I just don't feel like it will be low enough still. :(

did you really expect a non-adjustable kit to slam your car ? if you wanted it perfect you should have gone coilovers.

No I didn't expect it to slam my car. I expected a decent stance, not reverse rake.

should have looked at other peoples pics. they almost always have that effect.

also. your euro side markers are not right at all.

GC camber plates lower your car 24mm in the front -- that's almost an inch.
You can do that, and stack some spring pads in the back and that should take care of your reverse rake problem.
I suggest getting the camber plates with the H&R race though ;)

Excellent, thank you for your suggestion! I think I will do just that. :)

The camber plates with the stock diameter springs won't go that low. They'll drop it a little but not an inch. H&R race will be the same in the front and higher in the back. The best way to fix it is to sell the IE3's and buy some coils for like $50 more. Or you could get some FK 75/50's if you don't mind a slightly softer rear end.

yeah. For like a few dollars more you could have got ground controls with your own spring rates. I had my IE's for like one week before I pulled and sold them for something better.

I always heard the GC's didn't go that low? Is that accurate in your opinion?

Does anyone have experience with NEX coilovers? Seems like a good amount of E34 guys running them...
