    NASCAR/Race Shock Install..

Haha anyone done this on an E30?

It'd be cool to be able to run something like:

    In the rear... VERY CHEAP.

    What would it require?

I'm just dreaming. It's raining outside lol. :p

Well, it's not NASCAR, but GC makes a rear coilover...

      Hmmmm interesting.

I've yet to even take my shocks out, what do stock shock mounting points look like? I can get slightly used circle track shocks all day for like $30... it'd be sweet to use those and just some GC coilovers at the stock spring location.

Ya gotta have pretty major reinforcement of the upper mounts to run true coilovers in the rear...

That point actually doesn't usually fail. The bolt will sheer before that part of the trailing arm will fail.

Couldn't you weld new brackets or something? I'm really speaking from a blind point of view lol. It's pouring and cold I don't want to go out and look at it.

How do people reinforce the top?
