coilover front spring length?

how tall should the the front springs be on a coilover set-up? 7" or 6"? thanks

Either works, but most people go with 6".

So you would be able to go an inch less lower with 7" springs. Figures i can find a good deal on coilover springs but the shortest length is 7".

Something like that. I don't slam my ride all the way down with 6in, and was going to run 7in (bought a pair even). You just won't be able to super slammed it so your oil plan gets killed.
