    An interesting observation...

Yesterday I loaded up the trunk of the E30 with about 150 lbs of brake rotors I picked up from the machine shop after having them slotted/dimpled. Car has the Billy Sports and H&R Sport springs.

Needless to say the front of the car rose up about 2 inches, so it was now nose high. To my surprise the car actually rode WAY more comfortably on the ride home. The front end didn't make that harsh sound going over the sharp bumps, just the regular thump, indicating the strut had more travel and wasn't riding on the bump stops.

If I didn't like the way the car looks being lowered an inch or so I'd consider putting on some regular springs and struts to get that kind of ride. So it's now time to save up some coin to get the GC coil over package with the shortened struts...

The ride might have felt better, but the car will understeer like mad.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

It certainly did, but then again I wasn't in any hurry with all that weight in the trunk...
