Okay so I got these springs in last night. They are some of the best springs that I have ever used. I highly recommend them to anyone that can get there hands on them. I have about a finger of clearance in the front and a finger at an angle in the back. No rub what so ever, I was worried about that.

^^ that and whats the lowering rate on these?

aren't they the kind that need shortened struts to handle the drop?

I knew a guy that had these laying around and a pair of HR springs too. So I asked if he was going to use these and he said no you can have them so I jumped right on them. I don't know the lowering rate of them but ill get pictures up as soon as I can score a camera from a friend. Now if anyone has an input on a good sway bar for front and back let me know.

i have the 60/40 drop on my m42 and i love them. stance is almost perfect i have to get my drophats installed and it will be right on at the height.
good quality springs. i had vogtlands on it before and those started to sag after less than 1000 miles.

How much do these run for? who sells them? and is your combo billy sports + fk lowering springs? are they specially made for the M42?

I want to buy some springs and shocks for my brother but since I don't want him to drop too low, due the fact that this is his DD and his Daddy mobile., It's gotta stay somewhat comfortable.

I got the springs for free so I'm not sure how cheap you can get them. I did a quick search and found them on ebay for $199. I don't have billy's in there yet I have struts from BMW. Not them I'm aware of for the M42 I got these from a guy that had a 325es. Ill get some new pics up here in like a week I get my camera this up coming weekend.
