Im just curious guys, as I own a lowered 318 vert,( springs, billy sports, new busings etc) and dont have the clearence to put on a cross brace below ( live on gravel roads and cross brace will only clear by 3/4 of an inch I was told), and right now cant afford to buy a sparco or mason but saw these
this is my drift car with the bar on it. The plates just bolt over top of the shock tower with no bushings or anything. the red stuff you see is the kmac camber/caster plates.
ordered the cheaper one, the one that is not chrome plated so I can paint it black
will let you know what I think
figured it is worht the gamble, for 45 shipped for the non chrome
surely its got to be better then nothing
spring time will be new bushings etc in the back, as the front is completely redone,
possibablly a fatter bar on the back, and some reinforcement of the mounts ( from what Ive read)
still debating on what bushings to put in ( the type) have read all the pros and cons, and it really is just a street car that sees a mile of gravel road a day and another 14 miles commute on nice twisty country roads
well, the clone is painted adn in.
it is well made adn solid
I had been p.m'd taht the verts, have extra bracing anyway and it is not needed.I still wanted to see for myself
well
I did feel the improvement, and it nearly eliminated my cowl shake in my vert,
and I hit 1-2 miles of gravel a day
it clears the manifold of a m42 no problem and does not hit the battery ( vert)....ny two concerns from other forums
