    Best suspension for 87 cabbie??

Hello everyone. First on the 87 vert i just bought is suspension work. Yes, Yes, the timing belt was already changed. So im looking for a good 2 inch drop and what bushings do you guys recommend changing as well that are relatively important to handling. Its my daily now, but im driving it soft cuz the susp. is soft.
    Thanks for any help..

HR vert sport springs and billy sport shocks, wont quite get you to the 2" drop but close and the ride is perfect.

I have a set of H&R vert sport springs I can sell you. 3/4 coil was cut from the front to get it a bit lower. I bought them new and had them on my car for 1/2 a season before I switched to GC coilovers for the 2.5" drop I was looking for.

As ZM said, the ride and handling was superb when paired with Billie Sports. Enthusiastic driving was a lot easier than with my current setup. My current height takes a lot of attention on New England roads.

HR sports, bilstein sports. thats what you need.
plus a bunch of little bits and pieces but thats the shock/ spring combo you want.
          perfect all around.
and a strut brace, and maybe a bigger rear sway bar.
you'll probably be happy replacing everything with just stock bushings.

my vert is sitting on springs and billys too, and all new front end
              very happy
this coming weekend putting on a race skid shield and a strut bar ( should be here anyday now)

rear busihgs and a fatter rear bar is part of this springs to do list
( as well as paint and install my IS trunk lid, with lip of course, with no third brake light and my front is lip) side lights were smoked and the center caps put back on just after the picture

would love to afford some nice 15" euroweaves or other bbs

today I put on a strut tower brace and a skid plate,
I wanted to do a cross brace below, but cant spare loosing the extra ground clearence
I drive about 2 miles of gravel road a day,
I can tell you that I did notice a difference in driving on pavement, and hardly any cowl shake or noise on the gravel unless ( as a test) I hit the washboard at speed

I wonder if the skid brace helped stiffen things up too, as it does locks the supension at another point
