Steering rack swap question

Been doing research on the e36 rack swap for my 1990 325i (airbag delete) track car. Think I want to go with the 96+ 2.8L Z3 rack with 2.7 turns LTL. Has anyone done this that could help me with the correct rack PN? Here is where I got some of my info:

I've also gone through most of the 30 page thread in the DIY section, but have not found the part number. Have also seen conflicting info that the Z3 rack should be from the 1.9L.

I'm looking for the quickest steering for this car since I use it mostly on the track.

bump, I've probably read it but my heads about to explode...

Does any non M Z3 have the 2.7 or is it a crabshoot? Trying to decide on a used one for $190 or reman one for 300+
