    Suspension advice

So since tax time is here im gonna upgrade my stock suspension. The struts are shot and i want to lower it a bit. What are you guys running on here? Ive seen on bav auto the eibach kit that has the springs, swaybars, end links, and bushings for 560. I can get some used billies from a guy in town. It all sounds good but has anyone used eibach sway bars? I know they are a good company but ive never had anything from them.

I seen a set of blue tokico shocks/struts with springs on fleabay for 330 w/free shipping. But dont know about the blues, i know the white ones arent that great but no clue about the blues. Thanks for the help.

Ya gotta talk more about what you want out of your car.

I love my setup, but I am a dedicated DD, no auto-X or track crap at all.

Too firm for most normal folk, but nice and tight/supple/comfy to me.

I want a lower ride but not bouncy, its a DD, but i live on mountianous roads, so twisties are common driving for me, i dont race but its fun to go fast. What do you use?

Both of my cars have GC coilovers. I personally wouldn't do anything less than that.

Just continue to save up money, put your tax return in the bank and save some more.

Or go with H&R's and Bilstein Sports.

See, in my case if someone gave me coilovers, I would sell them and buy what I have now.

Hey man I did research on this for two tax seasons until I finally pounced...I went with H&R sports and Bilstein sports. Great for spirited driving and the drop is practical if you live in an area with a lot of pot holes/rough driving/snow driving. I enjoy it. Be sure you do your strut mounts and everything too...if your CA's and CAB's haven't been changed you might as well get to those too.

              Good luck!

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.
