    spring/ coil over question

    i have a 91 325is and i want to slam it with a stiff spring rate, right now i have h&r springs with bilstin shocks. what would my best bet be? and how would i go about putting coilovers if that was the best bet? preff some pictures of the set up would be nice also. thank you

    Your best bet would be to search. Your second best solution would be to buy the full GC kit.

      i was thinking of using the g/c coils i used to have them on my civic, but are they one peice or do i have do the hole welding of the shock and stuff?

        You can buy a "bolt-on" kit that is installed like a Civic. Pre machined to fit over the stocks struts, no cutting, no welding. This same kit can be used later on if you decide to get fancy and shorten struts etc. to get more suspension travel, new strut inserts and all that.

          thanks for the info. if i just get the "bolt on set up" how much would that cost and about how low would that put the car?
