    rear lowering help

Ok, so I am new to this forum even though I have read a lot of threads so far and love it.

My problem is I have an E30 325i Vert and installed Spax lowering springs (55/35mm) and Bilstein Sport shocks. The drop came down as specified in the front and I love it but the rear did not come down at all????? I called Spax, and as they are from england I didn't talk long to save on my phone bill. They said to put shorter dampers on it so I did. Still no difference with the Bilstein Sports. Is there anything I am missing, I have lowered many cars in my day but never a BMW. Sorry for no pics at this time but the rake is huge on the car and does not look right, most verts sit low in the back to begin with but I have way to much wheel gap!!!:( Also I made sure the part numbers matched up and they do.

    Any thoughts? Thanks for reading!

Well a 35 mm drop is really not to big. Do you have both spring pads in? Maybe try taking those out and see what happens. It won't squeak to much. Other than that the only real solution would be to get different springs.

yeah I there still in, but 35mm=about 1.4 inches which in my opinion is a noticeable drop, from what I can tell there are not really many other options in just springs that will lower it any more than that.

Ya. I believe that's your best bet unfortunately. You can pick up a set of cosmo coilovers for 200 dollars. I have them on my car and they are fantastic. Adjustable and high spring rates that don't break the bank.
