Gotta wait a week let them settle, they'll drop quite a bit. Check back in after some time.

One more thing... The rubber thing things (sorry I don't know the correct names) on the top and bottoms of the springs, are those necessary? I think If I can do without them it will lower it about another 1/2" or so.

the spring pads are not necessary. they're for noise reduction/to keep the spring from rubbing the perch all the time. they will lower it a tiny bit more if you remove them.

Ok I've had the springs on for a while now and the ass end is still up in the air. I picked up the set at a pick a part. Billy struts w/ the eibach springs. I've got almost 2 fingers gap in the front and 4 four fingers gap in the rear. Could shocks have something to do with the ass end still high? For example if they used billy hd's vs billy sports? Would that make a difference in the lowering? Any one have any input on what could be the issue?

Does not sound normal. Those shocks would not make a difference that large if any, post some pictures of the car and the gap.

Jack it up a little, remove the bottom shock bolts let it back down and see if they were holding it up.
