    Power steering noise

Hey guys, this problem started a quite a few months ago. When ever I turn the wheel I get a loud crunch/crackly sound. It is not a moan or high pitched and its not a constant sound. If I turn the wheel fast, it will make a crunchy sound but if I turn it slow it will not make the sound. Also, it only does this in the morning. Later in the day when it is warmer it does not make this loud, annoying noise at all, no matter how fast I turn the wheel. The steering at a standstill is kind of hard, my moms '87 eta steering is easier. Mine just feels really heavy and its harder to turn. The fluid is way above the max line in the resevoir and it a dark bluish/brownish color. What do you think the problem is? Thank you!

Any sound other than a moan when turning the steering wheel is most likely to be from a problem in the front suspension. Since it could be anything in the suspension a full inspection and replacement of worn parts is indicated.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
