    Selecting a Sway Bar Kit

    Hi
im about to purchase a sway bar kit for my E30 (318 DASC)

i was looking around to see those available:
    Turner (350$)
    Elephant (414$)

    IE (~450$)

    H&R: (~550$)

    http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/catalog/shopcart/BE30/POR_BE30_SUSshk_pg1.htm

It seems that the Turner / Elephant are far more "cost effective" than the other ones.
is there any recs for any of the set's?

    thanks

    Ron.

The bracket reinforcement kit comes standard on the UUC kit, it's a $125 option on the Turner kit. But it looks like the Turner kit comes with rear trailing arm tab reinforcements.

I went the UUC kit along with the Turner rear tab and AKG front tab reinforcements.

I have a Suspension Techniques one (from Turner, IIRC) - I wish I'd gone with IE, as it is infinitely adjustable in the rear via a sliding bracket on the bar. My use and options are different than yours, however, as my car is a Spec E30.

Whatever you do, make sure you have the trailing arm reinforcement AND the brackets that bolt through the trunk floor for the bushings. You will tear them out otherwise. You don't need to make sure the bar you buy has them, but include them in the price and source them otherwise if needed so you are comparing apples to apples.
